One of his first memories is of carrying a pencil at age 2 – before he began to draw or even write. He still carries the pencil, but artist Allan P. Wallace has since picked up a few more art supplies, one in particular, uncommon in the world of art, can be found in almost every household – table salt! Wallace gained international recognition most recently for his salt renderings of athletes like Muhammad Ali, Kobe Bryant and Buddy Hield. However, he has not limited himself to any medium and creates works of art with elements as diverse as paint, leaves, soil, and coffee grounds.
