Nassau, The Bahamas, January 17, 2026 – The Junior Business League of Nassau (JBLN) officially launched its 2026 season with its annual Opening Day, setting the tone for the year ahead under the theme “Dream Beyond the Limits.” Colina Insurance Limited (Colina) was in attendance to show its continued support for its sponsored teams.

Opening Day served as the platform where all teams for the season were officially showcased. Both of Colina’s teams are the reigning champions of their respective divisions: Colina Distributors in the girls’ softball division and the Colina Astros, a boys’ coach-pitch team. Guided by this year’s theme, “Dream Beyond the Limits,” JBLN officials encouraged the athletes to be team players so that together they can achieve their dreams on and off the field.

Speaking on the energy of Opening Day, Maxine V. Seymour, Director of Corporate Communications, reflected on the impact the day’s festivities had.

“Seeing the athletes take to the field, like they had been waiting years to be back, really showed just how much they love the game,” expressed Seymour. “Their smiles are contagious, and the energy they have is infectious.”
