PACE Receives $5k Donation on International Women’s Day

Nassau, The Bahamas, March 8, 2021 – Providing Access to Continued Education (PACE) received a five thousand dollars’ ($5K) donation from Colina Insurance Limited (Colina) in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

“Life does not always go as planned but we must choose to challenge, as inspired by this year’s theme for International Women’s Day,” said Maxine Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina. “Colina is proud to assist PACE in its endeavour to empower young mothers; we are committed to our community, with a special focus on health, wellbeing, education and music.”

Colina’s $5k contribution will be used to purchase books for the young mothers and supplies for their infants.

“Without corporate sponsors, our girls would surely be disenfranchised. Your help and support have enabled us to meet our goals,” said Patrice Miller, Acting Principal, PACE. “One of our overarching goals is to help our students be better in academics, be the moms that they desire to be and to be all that God has called them to be.”

There are currently twenty-five (25) students enrolled at PACE.
