Silver Support for Chickcharney Challenge

Colina Insurance Limited is once again supporting the Chickcharney Challenge, signing on as a silver partner for the 2026 edition of the obstacle course event, that not only encourages healthy lifestyles and positive community engagement, but also supports charitable causes, including prostate cancer awareness during this month.

Colina is also thrilled to field a team to participate in the obstacle course, which encourages participants of all ages and fitness levels to step outside their comfort zones and push themselves physically.

“The Chickcharney Challenge makes fitness fun and brings people together around a shared goal. Colina is pleased to partner with an event that encourages Bahamians of all ages and fitness levels to push themselves, build resilience and embrace more active lifestyles,” said Maxine Seymour, director of corporate communications at Colina. “It is another way we are demonstrating our ongoing commitment to The Bahamas and to the health and well-being of our people.

“This partnership is especially meaningful during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Too many men put off important screenings, so we welcome every opportunity to encourage early detection and greater awareness. Our Colina team is also looking forward to taking on the course, giving it our best, and hopefully placing!”

The Chickcharney Challenge kicks off at Clifton Heritage Park on Saturday, September 26 at 6:30 pm. The event features a fun, challenging obstacle course for novices with little to no athletic experience to those with greater athletic abilities.

“We are elated to once again have Colina on board as a partner. Through its continued support, we can continue inspiring people to live active and healthy lives,” said Chester Robards, chief executive officer of Chickcharney Chirren.

“We intend to once again deliver a memorable experience, while also continuing our support of charitable causes. Prostate Cancer Awareness Month is observed annually in September, and we are encouraging men to to get their prostate cancer screenings.”
