Top Performers Travel to San Francisco for 2026 President’s Conference
July 6, 2026 – Colina Insurance Limited recently hosted its top-performing sales executives and agents at its President’s Conference in San Francisco, California.
The multi-day event combines professional development sessions and strategy meetings with reward ceremonies for top agents.
The conference took place from June 3-7. An appreciation dinner, which featured the presentation of awards, occurred on June 4 in the Cable Car View Room at the San Francisco Marriott Union Square.
Among the agents celebrated for their outstanding performances were president Sandra Smith, vice president Latarsha Cleare, Kenra Kemp, Aisha Adderley, Veoshe Johnson, Shakira Dean, James Seymour, Lynette Thompson, Shakeilya Knowles, Alfreda Knowles, Deone Wilson, Georgette McKenzie, Ann Hutchinson, Bridgette Sands, Robert Adams and Anthony Cartwright.
“Your consistent results have helped strengthen Colina’s position in the market and reinforce the trust that generations of Bahamians have placed in us,” said Emanuel M. Alexiou, chairman of Colina Insurance Limited, in a booklet highlighting the conference.
“That is why our investment in technology matters. Every new tool we introduce has a single purpose: to help us serve people better. Portals, e-apps, and all the digital solutions are intended to make your life easier, which gives you more time to do what you do best: solve problems and help our clients make the best decisions for their financial future,” Alexiou noted.
Speeches at the event were delivered by Marcus Bosland, Colina’s chief operations officer; as well as Sandra Smith, executive salesperson; Elrod Outten, director of sales; and Brandon Au, managing director, Pacific Advisors. The vote of thanks was delivered by DeAndrea Lewis, Colina’s vice president of life operations and sales.
“Congratulations on your outstanding performances and for earning your places at this year’s President’s Conference in San Francisco,” said Bosland in the booklet highlighting the conference.
“Your achievements reflect not only your strong results, but also your commitment to serving clients with excellence and integrity.”
Bosland encouraged the agents and sales executives to embrace this year’s conference theme, “Taking Sales to the Next Level: High Tech, High Touch, High Impact”.
“We recognize that the future of our business lies in the powerful combination of innovation and personal connection,” said Bosland.
“The technology we are introducing is designed to enhance your effectiveness, streamline your work, and deepen the value you bring to your clients. Yet it is your insight, relationships, and dedication that transform these tools into meaningful impact,” he noted.
DeAndrea Lewis, Colina’s vice president of life operations and sales, also reflected on the theme, noting that lasting success comes from the right balance of innovation and connection.
“High tech empowers us to work smarter, respond faster, and unlock new opportunities. High touch reminds us that relationships, empathy, and personal service remain at the heart of every meaningful client interaction. And high impact is the result — greater growth, stronger loyalty, and a standard of performance that inspires others to aim higher. Thank you for leading the way and for demonstrating what excellence looks like in action,” she said.
The President’s Conference featured an extensive itinerary, including a scenic drive to California’s Napa Valley, wine tasting at Castello di Amorosa, a hilltop lunch at Sterling Vineyards, dinner in Sonoma Square at The Girl & The Fig restaurant, an Alcatraz Island cruise, exploration of Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, the Ferry Building and Ghirardelli Square; and a sunset dinner to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
“This trip is all about recognizing the impact you’ve had on Colina’s success. We’ve put a lot of thought into creating an experience that’s meaningful and enjoyable, a chance to relax, reflect, and recharge,” said Elrod Outten, Colina’s director of sales.
“I am forever grateful to the team that helped plan this trip. They worked hard to make sure this experience is as special as the contributions you’ve made.”
