Nassau, The Bahamas, April 25, 2026 – Colina Insurance Limited (Colina) served as the presenting sponsor of R.E.A.C.H’s (Resources & Education for Autism and related Challenges) Annual Fun Run Walk, held at Montagu Beach.

The annual event, hosted by R.E.A.C.H, brought together members of the public in support of autism awareness, while raising funds to assist with the organisation’s programmes and outreach efforts.

Colina’s involvement formed part of its ongoing partnership with R.E.A.C.H and its broader commitment to supporting initiatives that positively impact individuals and families affected by autism across The Bahamas. Earlier this month, the Company donated $10,000 to the organisation in support of Autism Awareness Month and its continued work within the community.

Director of Corporate Communications, Maxine V. Seymour, emphasised the importance of continued engagement, noting that the partnership reflects a shared focus on supporting meaningful initiatives within the community. “We were pleased to once again support the R.E.A.C.H Fun Run Walk as presenting sponsor,” she said. “This event provided an opportunity for the community to come together, raise awareness and contribute to a cause that continues to make a difference in the lives of many.”

Chairman of R.E.A.C.H, Dwayne Gibson, highlighted the organisation’s mission and encouraged public participation. He explained that R.E.A.C.H remains focused on increasing awareness and expanding opportunities for individuals with autism and related challenges. “We were encouraged by the support shown and remain committed to continuing our work within the community,” he said.

Participants assembled at Montagu Beach, with the walking route extending to Paradise Island Bridge and back, while the running route continued to Ocean Club Estates and back.

Colina team members also participated in the event, in addition to supporting Autism Awareness Month initiatives throughout April, including the Company’s Blue Fridays, where staff wore autism awareness T-shirts in support of the cause.
