A Pre-existing Condition is an illness or injury (including pregnancy, complications of pregnancy, or pregnancy-related conditions) for which symptoms have been present or for which an insured has received medical care, treatment or advice at any time during the 12 months before coverage begins under the policy. A Pre-existing Condition is not covered within the first twelve (12) months of coverage.
